Track 1 - Have You Met? - Energy

This is the first song from one of ETS’s newest bands, Have You Met? Vocalist, Fay Preston, originally came to Studio 10 as a guest vocalist on “Never”, a song from RQ’s new album, DéjáR Q. Other band members include Jess Clay (Rocky Conway Jr.) on bass guitar, Mark Shilvock (Mugwump) on guitar and Ian Treacy (Yankovicsob) on drums. The band is currently writing and recording songs for a full length album.

Track 2 - RQ - Caught My Breath

Caught My Breath is the first song on RQ’s new album, DéjáR Q, and features Em as a guest Vocalist. The CD is to be released in November with UK gigs to follow in early 2008. DéjáR Q features 6 more guest singers, including Fay Preston(Have You Met?), Mix (Children of Lilith) and Luke Wetton (Karma Gallery).

Track 3 - Psychosis - Tallow

Tallow is a brand new song that Psychosis recorded especially for this compilation. He is currently working on a few songs for a CD release and is planning on doing some live sets in spring, 08. ETS are also planning on re-releasing Psychosis’s first CD, which was recorded a long time before ETS was around.

Track 4 - Crawlspace - Locust Planet

This is a remixed version of Locust Planet, which was exclusively previewed on the Crawlspace page, here on ETSRecords.co.uk. It is also the first song written for the bands new CD, which is being recorded in ongoing sessions, revolving around the limited availability of vocalist, Justin Osbourne. Despite this, Justin is also lending vocals to Derelict as they work on their first ETS album, which they hope will be ready to feature on the next compilation. Crawlspace have finished recording all the songs for their new album, and are in the process of mixing and mastering ready for its release during winter 07/spring 08.

Track 5 - Mugwump - Drive

Drive is the first song from the album of the same name, released in 2005. The album is going to be pressed for a final time, due to its popularity, during early 08. The album received airplay in the UK, USA and Australia, and had positive reviews in many European fanzines.

Track 6 - Yankovicsob - Sofrel

Yankovicsob is another new project to ETS, and has been writing for around 3 months. Its primary objectives are delivering heavily rhythmic songs that are mainly instrumental. Yankovicsob have a few songs already written for release, and are currently recording new tracks.

Track 7 - The Children of Lilith - Breathe

This song by The Lilith has been very well received and has proven to be one of the most popular songs of the new material they’ve released. This new material has received airplay on Kerrang Radio and helped the band develope a large following.

Track 8 - Karma Gallery - Standing There

Yet another new band, again, featuring the out-sanding vocals of Luke Wetton. Standing There was recorded during the summer sessions, along with seven other songs which will be circulated in send outs and here on ETSRecords.co.uk soon.

Track 9 - Shiva - A pt D

This is another song especially for the compilation CD, brought back from an earlier session and remixed. a Debut release is expected from Shiva during early 2008.

Track 10 - Rocky Conway Jr. - Gap Year

The Rocky Conway Jr. Band are a freeform jazz outfit who’s emphasis is on breaking tradition. Gap Year sees the band set the style for their work with flowing rhythms. Some reviews and comments sent in to ETSRecords.co.uk were quick to point out that this music isn’t jazz - they know.

Track 11 - MAS - Assumption

This new song from MAS sets the tone for a dub album currently being recorded at Studio 10. Assumption contains guest vocals from Psilo and percussion by Martin. this is one of the darker recordings from the sessions so far.

Track 12 - Acro X - 307

Taken from the CD Sounds Leap of which is made up of static drones and contains no beats. The whole album was recorded during the “twilight” sessions at Studio 10, hence the name 307. Sounds Leap has received mixed reviews, many saying “what was that about?”
