During an interview earlier in June, MAS revealed that Acro X and ETS have decided that a second press of Sounds Leap is in the pipeline. The new press will feature a new cover and updated artist name. The tracks are also being re-mastered, this time with more emphasis on the bass drone. “Nothing like keeping costs down” grinned MAS.
The original version of Sounds Lead was passed out around friends and DJ’s across the Midlands, and received mixed, but positive reviews. A larger push is planed this time, and responses to the re-mastered edition, from the UK and rest of world should start being seen towards the end of the year. “It will be interesting to see how the Static Drone Box goes down with people” laughs MAS.
